Hi! We’re Rolla and Cameron O’Reilly.

Our wedding gift wish is that you join us in helping Syrian refugee children obtain a brighter tomorrow through education.  Your gift will enable some of these kids currently in Lebanon to access schooling through the work of an NGO called Jusoor Syria  http://jusoorsyria.com /.
The Syrian Refugee Education program helps thousands of Syrian children continue their education outside their homeland.

Jusoor in Lebanon

o    1,200 children enrolled in Jusoor’s education centers in Lebanon
o    40 Syrians employed as teachers and administrators in Jusoor’s education centers
o    200+ volunteers have worked in Jusoor’s centers since June 2013
o    10 Jusoor-Lebanon Scholarship Recipients studying in five Lebanese universities.

Program Overview

Jusoor has been working with Syrian refugees in Lebanon since June 2013. Jusoor’s refugee education program in Lebanon seeks to ensure Syrian refugees in Lebanon have a holistic, well rounded primary school education through integration into formal schooling whenever possible, introducing contextual and relevant curricula and teaching methods to deliver informal education, and providing a strong psycho-social support within the framework of community engagement and rehabilitation.
Jusoor Beliefs and ethos:

1. Reaching as many Syrian refugee children living in Lebanon as possible
2. Driving strong educational outcomes and quality of teaching.
3. Strengthening the psycho-social foundation of the Syrian Refugee children in our program
4. Enrolling students in formal education, whenever possible.
5. Reinforcing the importance of education among the parents of the children
6. Strengthening morale in refugee communities.
7. Engaging volunteers in the program
