Rocky Mount Rockets: Team Uniforms

WHO: I am purchasing 55 track uniforms for the Rocky Mount Rockets youth track team. The team needs uniforms for the 2014 track season. I need the support of our community to complete the purchase.
WHAT: To have a nice quality uniform that is customized for the team it will run each athlete $45. The uniforms will be purchased through team Saucony who is already discounting the uniforms for us. Each uniform includes shorts, a singlet, artwork, production, and shipping. This will enable the entire team to all have uniforms that match.

GOAL: The total cost for 55 uniforms is $2,475. We have already collected donations prior to launching this page (see below).
GIVING: My two businesses, "Tar River Running Company" and "Tar River Timing" started things of by making two donations. I'm looking for other individuals or business to join me. So far i have commitments from:

* eyecarecenter of Tarboro ($250)
* Tar River Riming ($150)
* Tar River Recyling ($150)
* Hilliard's Lawn Maintenance, Inc. ($100)
* Anonymous Donor - community member ($100)
* Anonymous Donor - friend of the team ($140)
* Wilson Family ($50)
* Runnerpeeps (tbd)
* Anonymous donor - friend of the team ($50)
WHY GIVE: The team consists of about 50 kids from age 5-15. these kids work hard to do their best and want to look like a true team at their races. Track can be expensive for families to cover entry fees, track spikes, and travel. All of our races require the team to travel.
KIDS RAISE FUNDS TOO: Don't think these kids are just looking for a handout. In fact they didn't ask at all. The athletes and parents do fund raising. They sell candy apples, and will also sell team shirts. I personally see how challenging it can be for all of the families to cover expenses which is why i am trying to help out.
FULL DISCLOSURE: My son is on the team and I am a volunteer coach, but I am NOT trying to cover his uniform costs. I am trying to reduce the financial burden to the entire team. This is why i have contributed $400 between my two businesses. Any excess funds collected will enable us to purchase uniforms in future years. No individual will profit from this fund raising.
