Internship at the Innocence Project
Donation protected
I’m hoping to travel to the states next year via Birmingham City University to work at the Iowa Wrongful Conviction Division.
which aids with the exonoration of many wrongful convictions especially those on life sentences.
This has been a dream of mine since beginning my career to become a barrister and advocate for the protection of international human rights!
I’m having to save to secure my flight, accommodation and insurance costs. I'm finding it hard doing so even with 2 part time jobs in addition to full time enrollment in university.
I also do a lot of pro-bono legal work in Birmingham. For example, my work with the PSU provides support to underprivelleged and underfunded clients forced into representing themselves in civil cases.
I would love if I was given the oppurtunity to aid with the administration of due process of law in an international context with the Innocence Project.
If you could spare anything for a dream and passion of mine, I would really appreciate.
Thanks a lot, much love
