Help Save Robert Andrews Life

So, today I write to you about my father-in-law Robert Andrews who has recently been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease, a crippling, degenerative, fatal condition. But miraculously we have found a doctor who is getting excellent results treating the illness.
Our NHS does not provide treatment for Motor Neurone Disease but Dr Steenblock in San Clemente, California, USA does. He specialises in treating people with ‘incurable’ conditions using the latest advancements in medicine including stem cell therapy.

My father-in-law currently works as an odds compiler on the south coast. He has two lovely daughters to whom he has always been a very loving, supportive father. He is one of the most kind-hearted, compassionate, animal loving, peacekeeping human beings you are ever likely to meet and we all love him dearly.
Recent events have led to a rapid decline in his health and wellbeing, along with numerous trips to doctors and hospitals. Eight months down the line since he first became ill with rapid weight loss and muscle wastage, we finally have some clarity on what we need to do to keep our dear loved one alive.
Robert will soon be unable to work. The decline in his health has made certain parts of his body increasingly unusable which is very distressing.
So, here we are in the ever-hopeful hands of you guys. Now we come to the costs - the reason for this, our heartfelt appeal. Sending Robert to California for Stem Cell therapy & other necessary treatments for 60 days is somewhat expensive! As a total amount £48,000
Now, to us, this is an incomprehensible amount of money, but I guess if we lay everything out on the table we can hope. For my part, I’ll be doing a sponsored sky dive in Salisbury, after which photos and videos will be added to a public page.
I will be jumping from 10,000 feet in a tandem sky dive using @ GoSkyDive

Without Dr Steenblock’s lifesaving treatment, time is rapidly running out for Robert as, little by little, his ability to move and breathe succumbs to the illness.
In the happy event we raise more money than we need for Robert’s California trip, the remainder of your donations will go towards healthcare expenses necessary to prolong his life for as long as possible.
