Rita's Coming Home

This story will surely have a happy ending.

On February 6th, 2015, my sweet little sister Rita Deysarkar was hit by an intoxicated driver going at a speed of 107 MPH, less than a mile from our home in Plano, TX. Rita is the embodiment of love. It's very hard for Rita to think a bad thought, or speak a bad thought. She loves purely, without expectations, and give her whole heart and soul to those that she loves. She is currently on life support, and has undergone many difficult surgeries. She has not yet woken up from her traumatic brain injuries, but we are hopeful that she will soon. She is only 26, she has her whole life ahead of her.

She may need a significant amount of therapy in the next year or two to make a recovery. Her friends and family are raising funds for her medical and transportation care that is not covered by insurance. Our original starting point was 10k. We are raising the goal s we learn more and more about her future medical care costs.

One of Rita's favorite past times is social media. She loves fundraising, event planning, and people coming together for a good cause.  We know that when she realizes the love she has generated, even just in the online comunity, it will lift her spirits and her will even further to heal.

We are so greatful for your support and prayers.
