Help Get Something Off My Chest

Greetings and salutations, allow me to introduce myself, my name is Riley Smith, I’m 25 years old. I’m a nanny in Iowa. I’m a gamer and cinephile, and proud papa to the very best pupper in whole world.

And I’m that trans person the media warned you about.

I suffer from severe gender dysphoria, which means my physical appearance and characteristics don’t match my gender identity. This causes me severe depression, anxiety and general loss of self esteem, and most of it is caused by two rather large lumps on my chest. These lumps also cause me severe back pain and skin infections on a regular basis.

I intended to change that by getting a breast reduction this past summer but unfortunately my insurance denied me with no alternative other than to raise the money for myself if I want to get the procedure done.

I figure if I’m already paying for the surgery myself, I may as well get the surgery I really wanted (which insurance also won’t cover): TOP SURGERY. This means removing both breasts and making the chest more masculine.

The whole procedure costs $8,450 and unfortunately, being 25 years old, I don’t just have that kind of cash laying around. That’s where you come in, while I’m working on my end and scraping money together, I would appreciate any help I could possibly get in this endeavor, and hopefully between the two of us we can raise enough to completely change my life.

Any little bit will help and if I, by some miracle, go over my goal, I will be donating any extra money to the ACLU. ACLU is currently fighting in a lawsuit to force insurers to cover gender affirmation treatments and procedures, like the one I am trying to fund.
