Riley's Knee Surgery

Donation protected
Hey everyone,

Thanks for taking the time to read this. As most of you know, Taylor and I adopted the precious Riley exactly a month ago today. She's a boxer/mastiff/more mix, with a super calm demeanor who loves people and abhors being alone.

Yesterday while playing with a neighbor's dog (much bigger), the two pups collided and our baby girl fell on her left hind leg in an awkward way. What resulted was a left tibia tuberosity avulsion, or in layman's terms a separation between a small bone that sits below the knee cap and is typically attached to the tibia.

She's layed up now and essentially has to remain immobile, minus potty breaks, until after she receives a surgery to insert two pins in and re-attach the bone.

Insurance is not going to be able to cover the bill, and this $4,000 medical bill for her is coming at the literal worst financial time feasible for us as student loans begin to come due and we're set to move in a new place.

Taylor and I sincerely ask you for any donation, any tiny amount of help you can sacrifice. I know you all work hard for your money, as we do, and I would never ask for you to give more than what is reasonable... just some help during a dire time of need.

We truly appreciate your time in reading this, and in donating if you are able to.

Sincerely,
Emilio and Taylor
