Rideau Winter Trail

We are excited that the 2020/21 season will be the first season for the operation of the Rideau Winter Trail  of Ottawa, a community not for profit. We need your help to make it a success, in frequency and distance of grooming!

We are seeking support from the community to assist with trail maintenance costs.  We'd like to regularly groom this truly urban winter trail, so that community members have access to an outdoor playground - cross-country skiing (skate and classic), snow shoeing, fat tire cycling and walking - throughout the winter season.  For this year, we plan to groom from Donald Street to Hurdman, providing approximately 9 kms of recreational trail. Our ultimate goal is to reach Mooney's Bay
With your support, he hope to make the Rideau Winter Trail a lasting and integral part of the outdoor recreational landscape in the nation's capital.

During the current pandemic, it will be more important than ever to have outdoor entertainment available for everyone, to support our mental and physical health. The Rideau Winter Trail is this!
