RideCLE will allow medical staff with proper identification to ride free and all other passengers the opportunity to travel up to 5 miles for only $7, a savings of more than 50%. Additional miles will cost $1.50 per mile for a savings of 33%. All customers, including medical staff must reference account ‘RideCLE’ when booking a ride. Devo Bavishi is the president of Ace; the largest locally owned and operated taxi company in Cleveland. He says, “The medical workers here and across the globe are performing an unbelievable service to those affected by the disease. We’re proud to offer free rides and give something back to them for all of their efforts.” Bavishi adds, “We want all Greater Clevelanders to trust that they will have a safe ride while lessening their financial burden during this tough time.” Ace Taxi Service owns four fleets of vehicles in Northeast Ohio, including Ace Taxi, Ace Flyer, Ace Express, and RideCLE. Since the outbreak the company has been coordinating with many jurisdictions and school systems on meal deliveries and other transportation needs. This special off includes delivery services to and from businesses in the area including grocery stores, pharmacies and take out restaurants. Bavishi continued, “We understand the difficulties faced by everyone and we’re proud to be part of a Cleveland community that has pulled together to help each other. We’re taking all necessary precautions to keep our customers safe when being transported.” All vehicles have been stocked with FDA and CDC certified disinfectant/virucide for the protection of drivers, passengers and products that are transported. Every vehicle will be disinfected after each trip serviced.
