Rick & Vickie Brown are wonderful, hard-working friends who have been afflicted with debilitating illnesses and injuries for more than two years.
Vickie has undergone multiple back surgeries, the last one on October 4th. Despite numerous attempts to bring relief, she continues to live in excruciating pain. In addition, she has chronic stomach and throat problems that make it difficult for her to swallow and to keep food down. Due to frequent hospitalization and the inability to sit in a chair for extended periods of time, she was laid off of work about a year ago and her Cobra insurance coverage soon expires.
Rick, too, has suffered from chronic health challenges for the past 2 years. He has been hospitalized multiple times due to blood clots, strokes and pneumonia. He still needs neck surgery that he has delayed to the point it is almost too late.
These persistent health challenges have drained their savings and caused mounting debts. The crushing weight of ill health and financial distress has brought them to their knees.
The needs of these good friends are beyond our own capabilities to meet. So we call upon you to please help with whatever donation you can afford, large or small.
