please help me and my son

I have wrestled with the idea of creating this Campaign and plee for help over many sleepless nights,  I have got to a point, where I have to swallow my pride, put my cap in my back pocket, and turn to others to ask for help.

I have a son, he will be turning 16 in June this year, he lives in South Africa, and I live in the UK.

Around ten years ago, I got married to a British lady, and emigrated to the UK. My son stayed in South Africa, with his biological mother. In the beginning, I was making fairly regular flights back home, and was getting to see him during holidays, and at least got to spend quality time with him.

But after being here for 3 years, I was diagnosed with a severe illness.  I wasn't able to work, and the national health trust would not cover the cost of my treatment and medication. Needless to say, my savings weren't enough,



and I had to stop taking holidays back to South Africa, and my contact with my son was reduced to social networking and video Internet calls.

It has now been over four years since I last spent quality time with him. I am now completely healthy and well on the road to recovery , but unfortunately, my marriage has come to an end too. My son has now been put into my care, full time, but is staying with my parents in South Africa, due to my circumstances having completely decemated my savings and basically stranded me a thousand miles away from the one that I can't bare to be apart from another moment longer.



I am asking for your help to enable me to be able to fly back to South Africa, as well as to help my son and myself set up a small business that will enable us to start a beautiful future together.

He turns 16 in June, and I would love nothing more to suprise him with a knock on the door, and to be able to say, " Dads home for good!"



I cannot tell you how difficult this has been to type, and is going to be even harder to share, I'm not used to asking for things,  but i am at my wits end and missing out on too much of my own

sons life.
