Renee's Cancer Treatment Fund

As some of you may know, our dear friend Renee was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a cancer of the bone marrow, in May 2017.  She has spent her summer undergoing an intensive treatment in the hopes that she will enter remission.  Her treatment has consisted of four individual treatments of chemotherapy for 21 days each.  In September, Renee will undergo a bone marrow transplant, which is a six to eight week process.

 Insurance does not cover all of the costs associated with her cancer treatment and the medical expenses have become a financial burden for Renee and her family.  Over a two month time span, the out of pocket expenses totaled over $8,000, which does not include the costs of chemotherapy (total around $135,000 before insurance payments) and the bone marrow transplant is estimated to cost approximately $375,000.  These are some of the medical costs and does not cover the costs for regular doctor visits, tests, hotel expenses, and lost wages for the family.

All donations will go directly to Renee and her family to pay for all out of pocket medical expenses.  Any donation you can make is greatly appreciated, as this will help alleviate some financial stress and help the family focus on beating Cancer.
