Memorial fund for Rene Trujillo

We have created this page to garner support to help the Trujillo family in their time of need. We know it is not possible for everyone to attend our Memorial Fundraiser that we have scheduled on Saturday, August 19th (1:00pm) at the Trujillo residence so, we have made a GoFundMe page on their behalf for any donations you would like to contribute.
The reason for our memorial fund is due to a sudden loss of a beloved son, brother, father, uncle and a dear friend, Rene Trujillo.
In April of this year, Rene experienced a seizure and was taken immediately to the hospital for evaluation, unfortunately the family learned that day that Rene was diagnosed with renal cancer and because of the sizes of the tumors in his brain, he would be susceptible to have more seizures until treatment could bring them down in size. Throughout the next several weeks and over the course of several doctor visits, it was learned that Rene's cancer originated from his kidney. Our family had to face the fact of a long and unknown future for Rene however, during one of the doctors visits, it was said that Rene would have about 5 more years with us.
On July 27th, Rene suffered through his last seizure, which rendered him sensitive, to light and sound, prohibiting him to be out in any type of light or loud noise. He spent the last few days in his bedroom welcoming visitors if they did not mind sitting in dim lit room with him. Rene got through the weekend and then attended his scheduled doctors appointment on Monday, August 1st and due to complications from his chemotherapy, he had developed blood clots in his legs. Rene then spent three nights at the hospital and was released Thursday, August 3rd. He was brought home immediately but did not make it further than the front door. Unfortunately Rene or our family did not get to cherish his last 5 years but looking at it now, we were able to have the time God granted us with him. This is especially hard to deal with because Rene leaves behind three young children that meant the absolute world to him.
