Ginger Needs Immediate Lipoma Removal

Ginger's owner died on Mother's Day. She was alone in her backyard with family members attempting to care for her. No one could get near Ginger as she was exhibiting extremely aggressive behaviors. I was called to help and was able to wrestle Ginger into my van to transport her to our vet. Once at the vet, her demeanor changed completely - she was sweet, giving the staff kisses and allowing us to bath her and even cut her nails.

Ginger is already spayed. Her leg was broken long ago and has healed, but the biggest concern is the mass on her rear end. I took her to GVS for evaluation. They did an ultra-sound that determined it is non-cancerous and the vet thinks he can remove the lipoma. He wants this mass removed ASAP as there is a concern that it will hinder the functionality of her urethra. Ginger is also heartworm positive so we took x-rays of her chest to verify that she is able to undergo anesthesia even with the heartworms.

$2,500 will cover her lipoma removal, heartworm treatment, antibiotics, vaccines, and micro-chip - please help FTTF help Ginger.
