<div>Hello everyone! My name Rishi Sharma, I am 25 years old and I am on a mission to meet and interview ALL the WWII veterans of the Allied Countries and I NEED YOUR HELP. I run a non-profit organization called <strong>Remember WWII ( </strong><a href="https://rememberww2.org" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><a href="https://rememberww2.org" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://rememberww2.org</a></a> )and I started on this mission when I was in high school and after CBS Sunday Morning did a story about my mission in 2016, I am blessed to have raised some funding and I hit the road. Literally for seven years my life has been devoted to finding and interviewing WWII veterans or editing their interviews. This December was the first time I actually came back to my house in five years. I have traveled across 48 states, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia interviewing just over 1,500 WWII Heroes in that time. The veterans are all given free copies of their interviews and we have partnered with many schools and universities to share these important testimonies. Many of the interviews are also put on our popular YouTube channel Remember WWII where millions are educated about the true reality of war. <div>These interviews are cathartic experiences for the veterans who often have not shared their experiences before and it gives these incredible Heroes the opportunity to live forever.

<div>I HAVE NOT TAKEN A SALARY THIS ENTIRE TIME AND I DO NOT INTEND TO. To save on cash, I literally live out of the car just to keep the interviews going (<a href="https://www.cbc.ca/amp/1.6431576)." target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><a href="https://www.cbc.ca/amp/1.6431576" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://www.cbc.ca/amp/1.6431576</a>).</a> That is a news story about me living in the car. All I ask is if the travel expenses to be taken care of as I am not wealthy. This fundraiser is designed to help keep me on the road interviewing and preserving the stories of the WWII Veterans and to help expand our team to include other oral historians across the world. As I mentioned I live out of the car when I travel and all the money goes directly into traveling to meet the WWII Veterans the camera gear. The WWII veterans are all given free copies of their interviews. Your support would make sure more WWII Veteran can live forever and inspire future generations with their tales of valor.

<div><strong>World War Two</strong> was the largest human conflict in the history of humanity with men and women of all ages and all walks of life uniting together and putting their lives on the line to stop the spread of tyranny and totalitarian regimes who were literally trying to wipes out entires races of people through genocide. This is a time in our nations' history that we ALL really should be proud of and hope to live up to.

<div>    In the United States alone 420,000 Americans sacrificed their future dreams and aspirations hoping that they could make the world a safer place for future generations. WE OWE IT THOSE WHO GAVE THEIR LAST FULL MEASURE to always understand and appreciate that our lives have been bought with their bloodshed and sacrifice and that we will simply never forget what they have done for us.

<div><strong> If a Civil War veteran suddenly came back to life from the grave, all the world's media would be hounding him begging for an interview using the nicest equipment and the fanciest cameras. What boggles my mind is that we have this opportunity with the WWII veterans! We should not wait until there is only one left to acknowledge their sacrifices and to document them.</strong>

<div>I have banded together with some like minded folks who care about our veterans and run their own charities to brainstorm the best way to document all of the WWII veterans. We have come up with a two step plan. We need to create oral history teams and have an oral history competition. Whoever has the most footage of WWII veterans talking about their first hand experiences will be able to control the narrative who was right and who was not.
