Alice's Memory Volleyball Court

Donation protected
My wife Alice died at age 52 after 7 years of dancing with ovarian cancer-her legs finally gave out.  One of Alice's favorite places was the University of Michigan Biological Station, a teaching and research facility where she spent numerous summers with her family and friends.  Alice's father taught camp biology courses and performed research at this station and she became friends with fellow campers and faculty member's children that returned summer after summer.

The volleyball court was a gathering place for all attendees-not just people playing volleyball but for other numerous activities.  Over the years this court has fallen into disrepair and afterdiscussions with the camp staff, fellow campers and retired participating faculty members, building a new volleyball court seemed like the perfect idea to remember Alice and what she meant to all of us and add a valuable function to the Station.

I need to raise these monies by September 30, 2017 and will be used in th demolition of the old concrete court and design and construction of the new court.

The BioStation associate director will be in charge of the final expenses
