Redlands Aikikai 2017 Mat Campaign

For 23 years, Redlands Aikikai has been providing high quality martial arts instruction for all ages, enhancing the physical, mental, social and spiritual well-being of the community.



We have multiple seminars every year. People travel from all over the world to attend our seminars and receive instruction from some of the world's most renowned instructors.


We started the ASU Western Fall Camp.  A camp which welcomes aikidoka of all affiliations and features a bevy of accomplished senior instructors. This year's are: Wendy Whited, George Ledyard, Raso Hultgren, Tres Hofmeister and Chetan Prakash. In addition, we expect to have a number of highly talented guest instructors.


Now we ask for your help.  To continue to run our classes, seminars, and the ASU Western Camp, we need new tatami mats. Years ago, our current mat system was hit by a flood, and several of those mats are now beyond repair. Plus, our second training area is in need of a consistent and safe mat for people to train on during the ASU Western Fall Camp and other classes.
