Rebel Roses @ Beach Brawl 2015

On June 12-14 2015, Leeds Roller Dolls' 'A' team the Rebel Roses will be travelling to Florida to take part in the WFTDA-affiliated Beach Brawl roller derby tournament, where we will face a number of international opponents.
This is the first chance that the Rebel Roses have had to showcase themselves in the world of international competitive roller derby. We'll be training our skates off to make sure that we do our supporters proud and in order that our skaters & support crew can all make the trip, we need to raise money to make sure that all of our best skaters can afford the expensive trip. Our target of £8,000 is around half our projected expenses. The rest will be covered by the skaters & crew themselves.
Please support us in this exciting venture, so that we can compete at the highest level possible to us at this time, promote the importance of involving women and girls in sport and bring back all of the skills and knowledge that we learn, to share with our newer skaters & other leagues.
Your support will go towards paying for flights & accommodation and rest assured, the entire team will be working hard to raise funds in a variety of ways. In fact, we're all dusting off our piggy banks as we speak... Some of our fundraising events will also be split with Leeds Roller Dolls' charity of the year (we'll make it clear when this is happening).
