ReBarre Studio Pandemic Support Fund

Thank you for getting to know ReBarre Studio and our GoFundMe page.
Asking for your help doesn't come lightly.  It has been a slow and thoughtful decision.  In the end, asking for help is the best way I can honor all of the people our studio serves - the staff who work so hard to deliver safe and dynamic classes, our existing clients who join us every day and eagerly await a return to maskless in-studio classes, and people like you, our future clients, who are invited to connect with us.

ReBarre has been part of our community for over 12 years.
Prior to the pandemic, the studio offered a full schedule of classes, social events, connection and wellness.  As with so many other small businesses, COVID-19  changed everything.  When the first of two state-mandated closures happened in March, the previous owner had to focus on her full-time career in the healthcare industry, and was forced to make hard decisions for the studio.  Our discussions about her situation turned into discussions about me carrying her legacy forward, and ultimately led to me taking ownership of the studio.

I'm Alli, the studio's new owner.  Since the day I first started teaching barre in 2008, my dream has been to have a studio of my own.  I took over the studio in May, and got to work creating an online studio that provides connection for our clients, some semblance of "normalcy" during this unprecedented time.  Our new online option allows clients to meditate and move while staying home or traveling, and offers us the ability to expand our reach to anyone with internet across the country, and abroad, including you.  I've also integrated my coaching business, expanding the studio's services to include online body acceptance courses, empowerment workshops, female entrepreneur support sessions, and serving as a resource to help clients tap into the heart of their power.

The reality of this pandemic is financially crushing.  I've invested all of my personal resources, and have been the fortunate recipient of some grants to help stay the course during the first few months of ownership.  At this point, I am urgently seeking new avenues to financially bridge the next few months, while I continue to steadily increase our online studio membership, and rebuild the in-studio business safely.

This GoFundMe was not created lightly, as I said.  I've thought long and hard about sharing the financial challenges - the pros and cons of taking this vulnerable step.  I believe so deeply in the vision for this studio and how it supports others and I am committed to doing whatever is necessary to survive these unprecedented times, to stay the course until the situation stabilizes.

Any immediate support you can provide will be deeply appreciated.  EVERY PENNY donated will go directly to operational costs - rent and payroll first, then utilities, then marketing to help reach new clients.  Your support will ensure that our studio survives these challenging times, and ultimately thrives despite the current circumstances.

If you want to learn more about what we do, please accept my offer of a FREE week of unlimited access to our online studio - meditation, movement and workshops from anywhere with internet.  It is one way I can thank you for your support.
