Memorial Fund for Ray Faville, husband, father & chef
Raymond C Faville, age 60, was the owner of Lock 12 Marina and the Finch and Chubb Restaurant with his wife and business partner, Linda Faville for 26 memorable years. This Whitehall, NY community embraced and supported them during these years for which they were always grateful!
Since 2012, Ray and Linda operated their family restaurant Chez Lin & Rays at 2270 Lake Shore Road on the shores of Lake Champlain in Essex, NY. Ray took great pride in providing a stellar menu, but more importantly an environment that welcomed the community he lived and worked in seasonally. He loved his staff and their customers like family and looked forward to going to work every day. Ray especially loved it when his children Tristan and Stefan worked side by side with him and Linda at the restaurant. It was truly a family affair.
Monday, 7/17/17, Ray had a tragic drowning accident that has left his family devastated and a community deeply mourning.
In an effort to show our support to Linda, Tristan and Stefan Faville while their restaurant, Chez Lin & Rays is closed, Rebecca Palmer of Willsboro, NY, friend of the family, has set up this donation campaign to defray the costs of Ray's burial and the loss of revenue this seasonal restaurant will incur during these peak July days while the family takes time to grieve until they reopen Ray's pride and joy.
Our goal is to raise $25,000 by August 17, 2017 for the family to offer peace of mind in this extremely difficult time.
All donations to this go fund me campaign go directly to Ray's daughter, Tristan Faville. If donations are unable to be made through this on-line go fund me campaign, a check can be mailed directly to Ray's daughter, Tristan Faville at PO Box 212, Essex, NY 12936.
