Randy Kleppel-Loving Husband, Dad & PaPa

The Kleppel's are not generally the kind to ask for anything but they have given so much over the years past to others and the community and now I am asking for you to help them in return. Randy's health has taken a turn for the worse and is currently in ICU at Cy-Fair Hospital and will be expecting costly medical bills.

Randy has two daughters; Rebecca (23) and Jennifer (26) as well as a son in law (Jennifer's Husband) Stephen and their four kids who call him “PaPa”.  Two granddaughters; Dakota who is 17 months and Peyton who is 3, as well as two grandsons; Nicholas (7) and Thomas (9). He has been the Manager of Just Brakes for 20 years now and struggles daily with his back in constant pain. He went from working 5 to 6 days a week to 7 days a week and as long as 12 hours a day (sometimes longer)  

About 2 weeks ago his Dr. had put him on a medication that a near 1% suffer from the severe and life threatening side effects causing his body to shut down on him. He was admitted to the hospital Friday morning and was able to walk in with the assistance of a walker. Early Saturday morning one of the nurses had given him that same medicine again and by late morning he was 100x worse than when he walked in the day before. He has lost all muscle ability and can’t stand or sit up on his own, nor does he have the strength to lift his own arm. Sunday night he was running a high fever and they found a bacterial infection in his blood and urine. They said he has Sepsis, Bilateral Pneumonia and Congestive Heart failure and having to breathe through a respirator machine. He is scheduled to have a Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE) test to look for any abnormal tissue or bacteria on his heart valves.

While he is in a fight for his life, his loving wife of 34 years; Kathy has been by his side trying to process and understand everything, but with the medical bills piling up and him being out of work right now, their finances have become strained. Kathy has been balancing trying to keep up with work and pick up the lost income while being by his side daily as much as possible.
