Rachel and Lucien's New Beginning

A New Chapter

Rachel and Lucien are starting their journey to the American southwest, and so many of us who know and love them are so happy that they are getting to follow this great opportunity. We are all sad to see them go, but turning this sadness into joy for them and their new life can be so much more rewarding! I have been so blessed and grateful for her friendship, and for the opportunity to know Lucien, such a sweet little curly haired cutey!

I know that the last few years have been challenging for them, and I just wanted to put this page together to show them how loved they are and how much we all want them to succeed.

Being a single mom moving across country can be very tough, and very expensive. Let's all pull together to help these two lovely people reach their destination, and have more resources to settle in and get grounded without the extreme stress that financial woes can bring.

Please consider donating what you can to help with the cost of moving, travel expenses, living expenses, licensure, and the many other miscellaneous costs that will occur for this wonderful single mom and her brilliant and sparkly-eyed son as they transition into their new place.

Rachel is the primary financial provider for Lucien, and has a lot ahead of her in terms of providing everything he needs to be happy and healthy, as well as paying for all travel expenses for her to fly with Lucien back to Portland 3 times per year for visitation. Your donation will be much appreciated, and every dollar will go towards helping this little family thrive and grow. 

We are looking to have these funds gathered  and fundraiser completed by September 6th, and all donations will then be dispersed to Rachel for her and Lucien's use as she makes a new home for them in Santa Fe New Mexico.
