A Race in Memory of Justin
Tax deductible
This coming December I will be running a half marathon in Central Park in memory of my dear cousin, Justin. Justin passed away on May 12th, 2014. My cousin proudly served in the U.S. Air Force reserves for many years, based at Southampton Air Base on Long Island. He served with his unit in Turkey in the early 2000’s.
PTSD is a terrible strain for those who have served our country so bravely. I wish for there to be a world where PTSD does not exist and for all military personnel to come home from service and rid themselves of the invisible effects of war. I love my cousin dearly and I miss him with all my heart. In his honor I will be running this race in December with a fundraising effort to be collected and donated to the Wounded Warriors Project to help combat PTSD.
