I survived with help from friends

Hello Friends & Family,

  As most of you know I spend my mornings at the Foxboro YMCA. My home Away from home I like to call it.  While I am attending classes, keeping fit and staying healthy I am also attending board meetings trying to give my input on how we can make the YMCA, an even better environment than it already is.

As a friend , family or a YMCA member I am asking for your support in helping me raise money in Our Reach Out For Youth & Families Campaign which provides access to Membership, programming and scholarships to less fortunate families.   

This year is even more personal to myself as I was informed about a mom who is about to begin her fight against Breast Cancer.  This beautiful woman will be now putting her twin young girls on the school bus and heading for her daily treatment.  

I am asking you to help me raise enough money so I am able to send these girls to the Hockamock y summer camp program July -August. 

I can't image while I was dealing with my battle for a year having to tell my children that they are not able to continue with their swim classes, use the teen center or have to skip camp with there friends because I didn't have transportation for them or my medical bills were to much to handle.

 Please help and give any donation none to small so I may reach my goal and these children are able to pack up their towels and flip flops and enjoy a summer meeting new friends and being kids while mom goes to her everyday treatment, and  focus on healing. I want nothing more than for this woman to be one of my fellow SURVIVORS.

 I can't thank you enough and look forward to presenting this family with the scholarship they could so use in this very tough time.
