On the morning of April 24th, Luke, also known as "Sledge" was fatally struck by a train right outside Bowie "State" Station. He was 20 years old and taken way to soon. Luke was always joking around in the van and eager to learn new things, even the rail heater which no one wants to run. Luke was someone who always wore a beanie and a smile. Some of us know him from the under cutter, or TLS, and some of us never got the chance to meet Luke, but he is a union brother for life that will surely be missed. Any donation helps, all donations will be given to his family to aid in funeral services, and/or a memorial for Luke which will be delivered within a week or so to his family.
