Funeral Fundraiser for Joseph Montross

Hello friends and family,
On March 19, 1965, my cousin, Joseph was born to Mario and Silvia Montross in Santa Monica CA. I have wonderful childhood memories of going to the Montross home in Reseda. I personally will always remember Joe and his great big smile!
As a young man, Joe lived in Reseda, CA- Las Vegas, NV. and Cottonwood, AZ., finally settling back in California in Long Beach. Through those years he had 5 beautiful children and 2 grandchildren. His Children: Quiana, Raeanne, Joseph, Nicholas and Alexis. Grandchildren: Eli and Santana. He loved his children and grandchildren with all of his heart!!
I remember when Joe called me to say he was moving back to California. He was so excited! He was here less than a year.
On the morning of Friday June 27 at 5:10am, Joe was driving north bound on the 405 freeway on his way to work. The initial report states that after a collision with the center divider, Joe left his car to check for damages, he was then struck by an on-coming vehicle and fatally injured. Joe was 49 years old. We are all devastated by the loss of our beloved family member.
Unfortunately, my aunt and cousins do not have the financial means to pay for funeral cost.
Our hope is that your generosity will allow the Montross family to afford the funeral services to honor the man they loved so much!
