When we think about our beloved Anna a few common words come to mind. Honest, kind, humble, sweet… those words are often repeated. Anna had a pure heart of gold and anyone that had the pleasure of knowing her knew just that. Her smile could brighten up a room and her kind spirit could make you smile in her cheerfulness. She was utterly in love with her family; beaming with every new niece and nephew born - always a second Mother to all. Online she made many beautiful friendships with NKOTB friends across the globe. Such a golden soul would befriend all and ask nothing in return but your friendship.
This year Anna was diagnosed with cervical cancer and it felt like the world stopped spinning. Instead of being in self-pity she decided to face that cancer head on and FIGHT! She gave every ounce of energy and stride to show that horrible disease this would be a battle. The days were long and tough and there was good, bad and ugly days but still then Anna was resilient. Even in her darkest days, she would look to her family and friends to see what she could do to brighten their day. Such a selfless and noble woman that fought so hard.
Sadly, Anna succumbed to her battle on September 6th in the early morning hours surrounded by love ones. Even in her final days on earth there was an outpouring of love for her by many. Such a sign of a remarkable human being that beamed love.
Let us honor Anna’s memory by giving her a proper “coming home” ceremony to lay this angel to rest. We as a family have pulled together our resources but are still falling short. Please look into your hearts to donate anything possible to our beloved Sister, Daughter, Aunt, Friend and Blockhead Sister.
