Oggi, in Italia, quell’onda di speranza è rappresentata da tutte quelle persone schierate in prima linea contro un nemico tanto insidioso, quanto invisibile, il Covid-19: sono medici, infermiere ed infermieri, forze dell’ordine, i militari gli addetti alle pulizie e alle sanificazioni, ma anche le lavoratrici ed i lavoratori di tanti comparti e i volontari. Tutti Impegnati in una guerra senza sosta per fermare il contagio.
RFK Human Rights , organizzazione dedicata a Robert Kennedy e presieduta dalla figlia Kerry Kennedy, ha deciso di mettere a disposizione le 12 stanze da letto della propria sede di Firenze per ospitare medici e infermieri impegnati negli ospedali della città fiorentina. Allo stesso tempo ha lanciato una campagna di raccolta fondi per acquistare attrezzature necessarie nei presidi più esposti in Italia in collaborazione con la Protezione Civile .

RFK Human Rights Italia annuncia che i fondi raccolti saranno impiegati per l'acquisto di un'ambulanza ad alto bio contenimento che verrà donata alla Croce Rossa Italiana, sezione di Firenze, il mezzo sarà a disposizione dal mese di Maggio. Il Consiglio di Amministrazione di RFK Italia ha deciso di dedicarla alla memoria di Maeve Kennedy Townsend McKean e suo figlio Gideon, scomparsi recentemente.

Today, in Italy, that ripple of hope is represented by all those people deployed on the front line against an enemy as insidious as it is invisible, the Covid-19: they are doctors, nurses, law enforcement, the military cleaners and sanitation, but also workers in many sectors and volunteers. All engaged in a relentless war to stop the contagion.
RFK Human Rights , an organization dedicated to Senator Robert Kennedy and chaired by his daughter Kerry Kennedy, has decided to make available the 12 bedrooms of its headquarters in Florence to accommodate doctors and nurses engaged in local hospitals. At the same time it launched a fundraising campaign to purchase necessary equipment in the most exposed centers in Italy in collaboration with the Civil Protection in Italy .
Help us to help. Let us help each other as Robert Kennedy embraced the crowd in the month of March of a distant but near 1968. A detailed report will be published on www.rfkitalia.org and on social media.

RFK Human Rights Italy announce that the funds raised are being used to purchase an high bio-containment ambulance for the Italian Red Cross in Florence, available from May. RFK Italy's board of directors decided to dedicate to Maeve Kennedy Townsend McKean and her son Gideon, recently passed away.
