Her death leaves a huge void, not only in her family, but also the Seekonk Town Hall, where she worked as well as across many service groups in town where she played an active role including the animal shelter building committee and the Save a Pet Society, which raises money for the care of cats and dogs. She was also a member of the town's historical commission and was an active member of the Seekonk Congregational Church.
Karen was the type of person to always put others, both people and animals before herself. The person who killed her took away someone who was on a mission to make the world a better place. There is an army of people standing up on her behalf who will not stop until the person who did this is found. We are asking for the help of the public in raising funds for a reward contingent on the provision of truthful information or testimony.
