On November 23, 2017, the day for giving Thanks, We were faced with a heartbreaking tragedy. We received multiple calls that changed our lives drastically. Our church home, our place of Worship was on fire.
As we stood by looking at the loss of everything within the church we were and remain comforted in knowing that we will be RESTORED.
Newark Way of the Cross has been a community church since the late 1930’s. It has been feeding the homeless and community every Monday, Wednesday’s and Friday’s in addition to many other community outreach events such as, toys for tots, clothing drives, youth programs and activities as well as back to school preparations.
We are determined to RISE! We are determined to continue the work God has assigned to us!
We have a long road ahead in Rebuilding and RESTORING OUR PLACE OF WORSHIP, but with the help of donations from the community, Family and Friends we will be RESTORED!
