⛓⛓ PRISONERS RAMADHAN GIFT PACKS  2020 ⛓⛓

Being in prison can be a daunting and isolating experience.

Many brothers and sisters have requested Qur'ans and books so they have a companion in a book form to help them through their isolation as they reconnect with the holy book and their faith.

Some have said they went to madrasa when they were younger but have forgotten how to read the Qur'an and don't know anything about Islam - hence want books to read and learn.

Others have requested prayer mats so when they pray salah they can pray comfortably and the hard cell floors do not hurt their knees as they go in sujood.

Qur'ans and Prayer mats we have distributed in Prisons around UK since 2016..

So far we have distributed over 20,000 Qur'ans...

As well as over 10,000 Prayer Mats for the Prisoners.

In 2019 we distributed over 20,000 Muslim diaries to Muslim Prisoners around UK.

These diaries are requested from the prisoners as they have reminders, adhkaar, duas, and a daily salah chart they circle or tick off every time they pray. Additionally these diaries are important as brothers and sisters like to keep their family members, friends, probation worker and solicitors numbers  in there. And if they wish to write any reflections they can do so in these diaries.

Going forward from 2020 instead of giving Qur'an seperate and Prayer mats separate we have decided to give gift packs that include all necessary items such as:

Prayer Mat
Diary
Daily and Evening Adhkar Books
Miswak
Hijab (for sisters)
Hat (for brothers)

Etc
