Fund For Queens Grant Soccer Field

On Wednesday, February 18th, 2015 at around 12:03 am, Idlewild Volunteer Fire Department called Mint Hill Police to report trespassing and vandalism on Queens Grant High School property. When Police arrived, it was discovered that the trespassers had drove onto the newly seeded soccer fields and done "burnouts" and "donuts" across the entire field. They had completely ruined the progress that had been made on the fields and the soccer team now does not have a field to play on for this coming Spring season. As a current member of the Stallions Womens Soccer Team, this act of selfishness and utter disconcern for property of the school makes me absolutly furious and brings up so many emotions. Nobody should have done this. As a charter school that has raised all proceeds to make these fields a possibility, there is no reason that someone should have done this. I have started this page in order to raise any money possible that would go directly to the repair and rebuilding of our self-built fields. We have set a goal of $25,000 but ANY MONEY IN ANY AMOUNT WILL HELP. I know that it seems impossible to raise this money but if one person donates and then tells a few friends about it, we can really accomplish this goal. When I say any amount helps, I truly mean that. Something as small as $5 could go towards buying a bag of seed or fertilizer. Thanks so much for any contribution that you are able to make.
