For all those who know our family I am sure you know of our fun loving son Noah, who is a current resident and student in Puerto Rico. Over the past 8 years we have been fortunate and blessed to have made wonderful friends and contacts on the island - from San Juan to Fajardo, to Ponce, to Rincon. As you can imagine it has been heart breaking to the core to see the devastation currently occurring on the island.
Following Hurricane Maria the island has suffered tremendous loss. Families and children have lost their homes, hospitals have been without power, and residents have been without basic necessities such as food, clean drinking water, gasoline and electricity. In the past week we have learned and suffer more heartache as we have regained little communication with friends and family on the ground. We have learned many schools on the island have been completely demolished and children are suffering from the lack of supplies and infrastructure. The families and children in Puerto Rico need our help now more than ever.
We have had an outpour of support from family, friends, and colleagues asking about Noah's welfare, his community on the island, and what can be done to help all those affected from Hurricane Maria.
This is why our family is organizing a rebuild effort. We feel this is one of the many areas being under funded at the present time.
For all those who have contacted us and wish to help with the rebuild effort we want to give you a platform you can trust. Your donation will go directly to the children and schools of Noah's Guaynabo community and have direct impact on the friends and families of someone you know.
