Cruciate Surgery

Puddin is a very active Bernese Mountain Dog who loves to swim, Hike and sit on your feet. She loves people and will do anything for you if you have treats. But last week she took a bad step and ruptured her cranial cruciate ligament.
Surgery is estimated to cost about $7000.00 and stem cell treatment several hundred more. At this point, I am out of ideas. I have offered to sell possessions that have value and dip into my retirement account to take care of her but that won't be enough.
Seeing her hobble around and hearing her leg pop every step is just heartbreaking!
I have asked for ten thousand dollars in part because I have not received a final estimate for the costs of surgery and after care. If the full amount is reached and not needed the remainder will be donated to the local Bernese Mountain Dog rescue organization.
