Publish "Grace Asperger Goes to School"

Help raise awareness of autism.  Most people know the word but not what it entails. I want to publish a series of books for children that help children and adults understand some of the struggles of autistic children. Above is a picture of my daughter and I at her school.  She has been my inspiration for this series of books.

I have signed a book deal with Tate Publishing and they will provide me a marketing rep, a literary agent, and a publicist as well as, illustrate, print and promote my book for me but they have asked that I contribute 1500. This is actually a really AWESOME deal! In order to pay for this, I need to raise more than 1500 because www.gofundme.com  charges a fee and there are fees to processing the money. This is a dream come true for me but I can't raise that money alone. So please help me. Any amount of money is greatly appreciated - $1.00, $5.00, $20.00, etc. It all adds up. I promise to use every dollar for the book.

Tate Publishing has an A rating by the Better Business Bureau.  They are a Christian company.  Tate is connected to Barnes and Noble and Amazon.  The book will be printed, and made as an audio book, as well as, made available on the nook and kindle.

About the book - My first book (the one that Tate has picked) is entitled "Grace Asperger Goes to School." It is the first book in a series that I have written based on my oldest daughter that has Aspergers. The first book is about a little girl with Asperger's Syndrome that must attend a new school but gets stuck with a teacher that uses figurative language to communicate. Each book is made to help children with Asperger's better understand Neuro-Typical behaviors/sayings, as well as, educate people about Asperger's Syndrome.

Synopsis-

A book for kids about understanding kids with Asperger's Syndrome, as well as, a lesson about figurative language for kids with Aspergers to better understand others. Grace Asperger is the new kid in school and she is put in Ms. Hinkelmyer's class. The only problem is that Grace doesn't understand what Ms. Hinkelmyer wants her to do because she is always using figurative language. Grace doesn't understand figurative language. She is a very literal person. You see, Grace has Asperger's Syndrome, which is a type of high-functioning autism. Grace looks normal and most of the time acts normal, too. However, she has trouble looking people in the eye, she doesn't quite understand metaphors or idioms, and she has sensory issues (like when lights bother her eyes.) Can you help Grace figure out where Ms. Hinkelmyer wants her to go?

I have looked at self-publishing companies and they only help you print the book. Most self-publishing companies make you pay 1500 - 5000 to print your book but they do not help promote or sell the book at all.  So Tate really is a great opportunity.  Thank you for your time and consideration. Remember, every dollar counts.
