Project40: Help Lizz, Lucas & Damien

On the morning of December 27th, Lizz and Lucas experienced a fire that damaged the entire first floor of their home and much of their second floor. They are safe, escaping with minor injuries. Their friend, Paul escaped safely as well and Damien was thankfully not at the scene when the fire occurred. Most of their pets also made it out of this disaster. Though everyone is safe they have still suffered great loss. Almost all of their possessions have been lost in the fire. If they have not been burned, then they have smoke or water damage.
Lizz and Lucas have been very active in the Hurricane Sandy relief efforts and have helped so many families in need, volunteering every weekend doing demo work and aiding in people getting their lives back together. Now this family needs help!!
If you make a donation today, please know that all funds raised are going directly to the family to help them rebuild, clean and replace their items, and to assist in getting their home back in order. They have been very fortunate that so many friends and family have been able to donate clothing, but in the coming months they will be in need of kitchen and living room items, cleaning items, hardware and tools when they will finally be able to rebuild and your donations would be greatly appreciated.
