Reina's Benefit 4 Special Olympics

Many of you know my Baby Girl passed away a year ago. PRINCESS REINA #PrincessReinaDe
Reina Fell ill suddenly in 2016 & within 10 days she was in Heaven. It all happened so fast, and unexpected. There was not much time for goodbye. She suffered multiple organ failure. First her liver, then kidney....her lungs filled with blood and took her last breath when her heart stopped. Reina was such a bright beacon of love
and many people were impacted by this great loss. Reina was only 16 when she passed.....and this year is a very special year to us.
In Sept, she would have turned 18 and this is the year she would have been graduating. Our family always promised her a GRANDE Party where she could be Princess for the night and this is what she looked forward to. We want to honor that promise & her memory!
We decided to throw a Fundraising Benefit to raise money for the SPECIAL OLYMPICS teams @ Hinsdale South High School in her name.
We do not have a lot of time as the event will take place SEPT 17, 2017 <3 But the evening will have everything that Reina loved! Music, Dance, Food, Friends, and more. There will be a Fashion show/Variety show and dinner will be served during performances.
We invite the community, high school, friends, and family to join us! If you are unable to attend the event....we ask that you could sponsor a Special Needs child, Student or (both paired) BUDDY Team, to go! Any amount donated will help! (We must sell enough tickets to raise enough money to cover the cost of the venue) Most of the Fundraising money will be raised during the Drawing Auction that will take place during the event! People will be able to enter tickets for items they want to win! Many have donated items to raise money....A Blackhawks basket, restaurant gift certificates, and more.
The support would not only mean alot to my family, but it would help support & greatly impact so many families of Special Needs children, the Special Olympics teams, and the neighborhood High School. It has been said that the kids could use new uniforms! Right now they use the hand me downs of the old regular teams from the past. Reina used to play for the Basketball team! She loved people, and encouraging them to smile, laugh, and be happy!
What a great way to have a reunion with everyone, give back to the community, and celebrate her life & memory!
Donations are being collected for the Drawing, Dinner tickets are being sold, and much is happening behind the scenes. (think a wedding, cotillion, school dance, talent show, fashion, dancing, all rolled into one.)
The amount set will help us with covering the cost of dinner tickets for special needs, students, performers, room/audio expenses, and help families who can not afford to attend.
