Juriah (4y) and Jessenya (3y) are looking forward to preschool next fall!
Juriah has already had one year full of fun at the University Preschool here in Cheney and wants to go three days a week next year instead of only two. Jessenya has been asking all year if she can go to school too and would like to go two days a week.
To send both of them to this amazing preschool, it will cost $880 per quarter and all together it will cost $2640. Juriah has been able to go due to a scholarship he received during the winter quarter which covered half of his tuition as well as help from extended family members. Juriah and Jessenya's daddy, (Jairus) is currently in the nursing program at WSU's Spokane location while mom (Aletha) is staying at home to take care of the whole family. Because of the financial situation their family is in currently, these two brilliant kids will have to wait until Kindergarten if the funds cannot be raised to send them to preschool. All of the preschool programs in Cheney cost roughly the same or more or currently have no openings. Also, University Preschool has the most challenging program with the best teacher to student ratio possible! Juriah has excelled in his understanding of so many wonderful things since attending. The instructor at the school is also a professor at Eastern Washington University in the early childhood development program and frequently has her college students come work with the preschoolers for hands on experience.
