The Rutherglen RSL Memorial Park exhibits statues and monuments to commemorate the service and sacrifice of Australian Service Personnel in every major conflict Australia has been involved in. There is currently no memorial that represents the service of post-Vietnam veterans for their service in places like Iraq, Afghanistan, East Timor, Somalia, Rwanda, Solomon Islands, Bougainville. This go fund me page has been created to fund a statue that will pay tribute to these Australians.
