Positive Peer Pressure Campaign

The 'No It's Me' campaign is partnering with Ambitious Girls movement to create the
"Positive Peer Pressure" Campaign and Scholarship.

My name is Ann Akinnuoye, founder of the #NoItsMe Campaign which focuses on the mental health of creatives and entrepreneurs. No it's Me is platform where your favorite creatives, artists, business owners are able to come let their guard down and discuss their fears and insecurities.

Both of these initiatives are centered around support, and having a healthy and stable support system that allows us to be free and feel safe as well figure out who we are as creatives, but more so who we are as humans.

The Scholarship:

By definition, " Group Think " has a negative connotation. It is the practice of thinking or making decisions as a group in a way that discourages creativity or individual responsibility. But what if we came together as a group for something positive, what if we all banned together to encourage creativity and accept responsibility?

At a time in society where social media is being used by everyone, for everything whether it’s with positive or malicious intentions we wanted to do our part in creating something that Is not only beneficial for others but also requires involvement from people from all walks of life.

We wanted to create something for people that not only encourages them to ask questions and participate, but also assist in paying a good deed forward! Positive Peer-Pressure!

We are all so caught up in what can others do for us, that we forget what we can do for others. Even If It’s as small as donating a dollar. If 15,000 people donate $1.00 that’s $15,000 that a person can use to start, continue, or finish their education.

As you know education is one of the few things no one can take from you, but unfortunately, it’s also extreme expensive and can place a financial burden on a person/family that is also dealing with the curveball life continues to throw.

Every year on July 31st we would like to present someone  through social media a $15,000 scholarship that they can use for tuition, room and board, meals, or anything that will make continuing their education simpler. This scholarship is for people enrolled in either an undergraduate or graduate program.

All Applicants will be required to turn in a video describing why they need the scholarship and how it will be beneficial to them, their past semester grades, references/recommendations and their community involvement.

The best part about this scholarship is everyone who donates will have a say in who it is granted too!

Imagine knowing there are people who you’ve never met that want to see you better, and more. Imagine knowing over 5,000 people contributed to furthering your dream of higher education?
