George's last wish to be on TOP!

My grandfather, George Stalter, passed away on Feb 10th 2018. It was unexpected. He was 69... his favorite number. Nobody knew the severity of his liver cancer. He was a proud veteran, loving husband, father to Wendy Darling, and grandfather and did not want to interrupt anyone with his illness. My Poppy was always a man to help others. He gave and gave and gave until he had nothing but as long as he could help, he didn’t care.  He was full of life and love despite the time he was losing. George lost his wife, his true love, Barbara (my Nanny) in 2011. He was distraught with emotion but continued the best he knew how. He did in fact purchase 2 burial plots, one on top of another because he always joked with her about being "on top". His last wish was to be buried on top of my grandmother. True love to be reunited. As much as we would love to have the ability to have one last day to say our goodbyes and remember his life with everyone he loved, financially he didn’t plan correctly and my mom, being single and supporting a household is unable to have the whole “shebang”. She is using everything she has left, just to give him what she can and to fulfill his final wishes yet that still is not enough. Being a veteran, he could be buried in a military plot but we already have one. They will still bury him with honors with his true love, his wife “Bobbi Doll”.  As his family, we want nothing more than to fulfill his last wish as he always fulfilled ours. If some could find it in their heart and help true love reunite, we can fulfill his last wish and not financially kill my mom in the process. So we ask you please help us. Any funds above the cost of his burial will be donated to the American legion located in Babylon. Thank you! God bless.
