Help Renovate a Food Pantry
Rebuilding Together North Jersey is organizing this fundraiser to benefit the Ponds Food Pantry and Rebuilding Together North Jersey located at Ponds Reformed Church in Oakland NJ.
During the COVID-19 Pandemic, the demand for nutritional assistance grew exponentially. Being a prominent food pantry in the southwest region of Bergen County, Ponds Food Pantry met the needs of hundreds of families. The size of the food pantry, however, could not handle the increase in demand. That is why we are raising money to help build a larger food pantry that will have the capacity to provide for everyone in need.
Construction will also provide much-needed office space as the new headquarters for local nonprofit, Rebuilding Together North Jersey. This organization provides low-income families, seniors, veterans and those with physical or developmental disabilities, with critical repairs and modifications to their homes throughout Bergen and Passaic Counties.
The construction has already started thanks to a $35,000 grant from the Reformed Church in America. This grant only covered a portion of the greater cost. Please help continue the progress we have already made. Any donation will help make a lasting impact in helping our neighbors.
