Pond Gap PTA Playground Fund

Pond Gap Elementary School students work hard every single day in the classroom.  Teachers and staff provide an inclusive environment of learning and acceptance and spend countless hours in order to help student's of the school acheive academic success.  While the student's at Pond Gap Elementary are rich in support and caring from the teachers and staff, they lack one vital element to complete the puzzle.

The student's at Pond Gap need a PLAYGROUND.  Studies have shown that physical activity is vital to educational growth.  Kids need to play to strengthen their minds, but they also need to play BECAUSE THEY ARE KIDS!  

The Pond Gap PTA along with several partners including the Rotary of Bearden are asking for donations to complete Phase One of a 3 phase playground project.  Phase One of this project is set to be completed by the Fall of 2016 when students return to school, but in order to make this happen, WE NEED YOUR HELP.  $7000 in additional funding is needed to get this project up and running.
