Tide's Knee Surgery: Please Help!

Tide Maxine is our 9-year-old Lab/Greyhound mix. She has recently torn her Cruciate Ligament in her knee (her ACL). Unfortunately, for dogs weighing over 50 lbs, this injury requires surgery to stabilize the knee joint. Dogs only have one ligament in their knee, compared to Humans who have two. So, this injury makes it very painful for Tide to walk since there are no ligaments holding the bones together.
The treatment recommended by our Veterinarian is called a TPLO (tibial-plateau-leveling osteotomy). This is a common injury in dogs, and this procedure has some of the best outcome rates. After a large amount of research and debate, we have decided that surgery is the best option for Tide to live out the rest of her life happily!
The surgery is projected to cost anywhere between $3300-3600 with a $135 diagnosis to start out. We want Tide to live the rest of her life with the ability to run and play! Any amount you can donate will help Tide out tremendously!
