                                   THIS IS MY STORY

Almost 8 years to the day, I was diagnosed with cancer in my lymph nodes. I had chemo, radiation, and 5 surgeries. I almost died three times. This will be my second time beating this. I've already received all the radiation one person can get in their lifetime, so they have me on six treatments every 21 days of three chemos each visit. I got through my second treatment fine, but now comes all the side effects.  I was suppose to have my third round today, but my platlets are down to 65K. When I started they were over 400K. I can't get anymore chemo until my platelets are over 120K.

So yeah all that happened a long time ago. It's now 8-28-17. Since then a lot has happened. I've added two more Oncoligist to my team.

This is the best part of my story so far. Back in December 2016 I was searching random clinical trials for my cancer. I just did a search on google. This doctors picture shows up, says he's doing a phase one clinical trial in Bethesda, Maryland. His pic had his name and number under it. So I called, and he answered. Please tell me what doctor answers his own phone.  Anyway, I told him my story, and he wanted me for his trial. I was number one in this trial. He had his team do everything, got all my paperwork, tests, and spoke with my original Oncoligist. I went up to NIH (National Institute of Health) had PET, CT, X-Rays, MRI, 16 tubes of my blood, and a bunch more. Well the tests in December came back with bad news. The cancer had spread to my brain. So I had a get rid of that cancer to go forward with the trial. I had a Gamma Knife Radiation, and it stabilized it. I went back to NIH in January, had all the test again, and passed. Yahhhh:) I call this my six week trial. I was admitted into NIH and was given a big dose of chemo, and four shots of IL2 along with my own T-Cells. It was scary, and I almost died, three days in ICU, and six weeks in the hospital, but if you look at my new pic that's how much cancer was killed, and I am stable as of now. The picture tells it all. I'm very thankful for the way everything just seemed to fall into place. My next check up is in October. If anyone wants to ask me any questions, just let me know. My team said they had never seen such great results. The clinical trial was immunotherepy treatment. Thank you for reading my story.
