Called to Kenya...help Lorraine on her road to recovery.

I first met Lorraine in the inhumane, government run hospital of Kenya. Although there were many with faces of no hope I was drawn towards Lorraine. She had been hit by a bus 9 months ago and had been lying in a bed, unable to move. Apparenty Lorraine was not able to afford surgery and could not leave until she paid the existing bill. So the hospital had essentially become a prison for her...and many. I was able to get Lorraine out of this hospital under the condition that I would return and pay the bill. Her bandages on both legs were covered in Maggots!! We took her to a private hospital to have her wounds cleaned and bandages, which had become glued to the wounds, changed. This was a torturesome process for her!! We learned also, for the first time, that Lorraine has a broken femur, broken hip bone and her blood levels are extremely low. The private hospital has begun with skin graphing on Lorraines legs. This is a $10,000 cost! Which we went ahead with, believing in faith that God will provide. Some of the funds were required to pay up front, which we were able to personally come up with, the balance is due in a week or Lorraine will be discharged without the rest of the medical care that she needs which could lead to the amputation of her legs. The $10,000 is only for this first stage of her medical care. Then we still need to come up with more to have the issue of her broken bones repaired.
$25,000 is what the total bill will be to cover ALL of the medical attention that Lorraine needs. This is a matter of urgency! PLEASE pray and consider how you can help monitarily. Our time is short but our God is big!
