In 2011 Marianne was diagnosed with end stage liver disease. She has been taking many different medications in order to help her liver do it's job. Her doctor, (Dr. Timothy Davern) with the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco has placed her on the active list for a liver transplant.
Marianne is the kind of person that can instantly make you smile the first time you meet her. Everyone just loves her...and I mean everyone!
She has been employed by the Yuba County Office of Education as a Para-Educator for Special Needs Students since 2002 . Her class is a middle school age group with moderate to severe disabilities. She loves her kids and they love her!
Although she has many doctors appointments, MRI's, Ultra-sounds etc. she continues to work in order to keep her medical insurance. Needless to say the insurance company doesn't cover everything and the bill's just keep rolling in. Then after the liver transplant she must stay for 30 days in a designated apartment building directly across from the medical center.
We're asking for help financially in order to cover the expenses for her stay after the surgery and the overwhelming mountain of bills she continues to receive.
