National Debate for Pittsburg High

Hi, Pittsburg Kansas debate and forensics team here. We participate in competitive speaking, and we're pretty good at it. This year, we have qualified two teams for the National Debate tournament held in Dallas Texas in June of 2015! In past years we have always been funded 100% and supported all the way to nationals, but unfortunately due to budget cuts at a state level, every cent has been withdrawn from our nationals funding, so we have no way to attend the tournament and have all of our hard work pay off. We work night and day all year long, putting countless hours into research, practice, and competition in preparation to qualify for this prestigious tournament, and we did! We would be devastated if all of this work was to go to waste because the state cut all of our funding. We are asking you to donate anything you can to help us get to nationals and do what we love.
