My cousin Daniel, his wife Diana, and their daughters - Camila and Marcela - lost their home and all of their belongings as a result of Hurricane Harvey. They live in Bear Creek and their home took in 6 feet of standing water which took over a week to recede.
When it did, Daniel and Diana began the process of clean-up and demolition -- an undertaking that was both physically and emotionally draining. But, with strength, support, and volunteerism of loved ones, they got through it.
Today, the Piquet Family is living one day at a time and slowly taking next steps to get back to "normal." After one month and over 40 generous donors who have given through this Campaign they are feeling both inspired and supported to forge ahead post-Harvey.
The Piquets are a Christian family and always doing for others, which is why I wanted to do something for them. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated towards our revised ($10K) Campaign goal! Please keep them in your prayers.
