Help Squirrels Make the World Funnier
Who We Are:
The Pin- Up Squirrels are an all-female comedic sketch and improv troupe in New York City. Formed over 2 years ago by Kristen Lucas who saw too many talented women miss comedic acting opportunities because there simply where not enough. The Squirrels consist of Erin Coughlin, Tera Feigen, Melody Goodell, Denise Ivanoff, Kristen Lucas, Erin Nolan, Lisa Perez, Racquell Powell, Kerstin Porter, and Nikki Stevens.
What We’re Doing:
As a group we are creating opportunities, not only for woman and comedians, but various talented people like our pianist Ross Plotkin, our various hosts, guests and musicians. We invite artists to collaborate with us on stage for shows like Play Date and our version of a late night show, Night Out to create a full show and give talented people the exposure they deserve.
We are also active shooting sketches in order to share funny with the world and to expose talented cinematographers, makeup artists, editors and other crew.
What We Need:
It is very expensive to keep all these projects going. For over two years we've been able to make great things, paying out of our pocket. For the first time we are asking for sponsors to help keep them going and make them extraordinary!
With your help we can expand our audience by attending festivals, creating sketch videos, and put on bigger and better Night Out shows that have the quality to submit to TV producers.
Our Goal:
Our large goal is to see our live Night Out show become a TV show. It will be the third late night show to have a female host after Chelsea Handler and Joan Rivers. We incorporate sketch, improv, live music and a live guest ( It 's great check it out if you get a chance).
In order to get to that late night TV show- we need help financing sketches,festival travel, props, and costumes.
